◎It is well-established drapery more than founding 100 years. We do rental, dressing of kimono and hakama transforming themselves into female worker look. Do you not take a walk through town of Tomioka with female worker look, too?

※Dressing receptionist of hakama returns hakama by 16:00 for from 10:30 to 15:00.

◎Tomioka Silk Mill is a World Heritage Site, a National Treasure and a modern industrial heritage founded in Tomioka in 1872 (5th year of Meiji era) as Japan's first government operated model mechanized silk-reeling factory.
Don't miss late 19th century brick buildings such as the Silk-reeling Plant and East and West cocoon warehouses. Audioguides are also available.

◎We sell Tomioka Silk soap and cosmetics. The silk used in this shop is pure domestic silk made with the upmost care by silkworm rearing farmers located in Tomioka City.
In addition, in main store in Tomioka City, we sell silk stoles including a large number of cosmetics.

Rukoji Temple (visit to the graves of female workers)
◎In female workers who gathered from the whole country, we fell young illness and were in passed away in this ground.Among the female workers who came from across Japan to work at Tomioka, some died young here after getting sick. In this temple, you can find graves of female workers who died between 1874 and 1901, after the privatization of the Tomioka Silk Mill.

◎Tomioka City prospered in sericulture. Products such as Oyaki (Japanese dumpling made of fermented buckwheat) using mulberry leaf powder are developped and sold inside this shop.
