The report on 2017 France - Japan Exchange Projects is online

A France - Japan exchange symposium called "Exploring the Roots of Tomioka Silk Mill" was held in Tomioka city hall on Sunday, October 8, 2017.
5 people participated as panelists : Nathalie Foron-Dauphin in charge of academic and cultural affairs for the Departement of Ain at the museum of Bonnet silk factory, Maurice Goy manager of the Cerdon copperware factory, Michel Rodarie vice-president of the Association Soierie Vivante, Egashira Misaki vice-consul of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the consulate of Japan in Lyon, and the mayor of Tomioka.
Each participant talked with enthousiasm about their commitment, issues and expectations regarding the Tomioka Silk Mill.
150 people including approximately 30 people from France attended the symposium. We would like to thank all the participants.
